Dedicated Recovery Coordinator

Job Title: Dedicated Recovery Coordinator (DRC)

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 9:00-5:00 Mon-Fri, with occasional nights and weekends 

Job Brief:

We are looking for highly motivated, people-oriented Dedicated Recovery Coordinators to work directly with corporate organizations, middle schools, high schools, as well as  colleges and universities. The DRC will be responsible for working directly with leadership and educating and speaking to groups of various sizes. The DRC position may often require night and weekend work, therefore we expect the DRC to be able to adjust his or her schedule accordingly, to ensure proper focus on the job while balancing self-care.

What You’ll Do:

  • Thoroughly understand Hope is Alive’s Recovery Model and philosophy
  • Uphold all HIA policies and procedures
  • Conduct seminars for business leaders, HR departments, and various groups within organizations
  • Speak to middle school and high school students on various topics using the HIA curriculum
  • Maintain documents and spreadsheets, updating frequently
  • Communicate with Direct Report regularly
  • Cultivate the HIA Culture
  • Draft emails for distribution to various groups

  • High levels of positivity
  • Flexibility, and availability – this position requires evening and weekend work, and potentially holidays. Holidays can be a particularly difficult time for those in recovery where a Dedicated Recovery Coordinator may be needed
  • 5+ years experience in public speaking or teaching/training
  • Experience as a school teacher or therapist

Director of Finance

Job Title: Director of Finance

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 8:30-5:00 Mon-Fri, with occasional evenings and weekends 

Job Type: Full Time | Oklahoma City

FLSA Status: Exempt

Job Brief: The Director of Finance for Hope is Alive (HIA) will oversee the day-to-day financial functions of the ministry. This is a central office position in Oklahoma City.

Must Be:

●  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

●  Certified Public Accountant preferred but not required

●  Must be able to lead at a high level and make decisions with minimal supervision

●  The ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at the same time

●  Good interpersonal and communication skills

●  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

●  Have non-profit accounting experience

●  Have experience with Quickbooks and Salesforce

What You’ll Do:

●  Assist the Director of Central Operations by helping oversee all Accounting processes and procedures.

●  Compile financial reporting for leadership, auditors, and lenders

●  Assist the Director of Central Operations in facilitating Hope is Alive’s budget process

●  Review and post entries to the general ledger monthly for payroll, liabilities, investments, asset additions and disposals, depreciation, miscellaneous adjustments & thrift store sales tax

●  Develop and maintain reporting provided to the Director of Central Operations, Co-CEOs and Executive Board.

●  Coordinate the annual outside audit of the Hope is Alive’s financials

●  Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and quarterly general ledger reconciliations.

●  Ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting as well as proper internal controls

●  Build and maintain reports on Hope is Alive’s metrics for budgets, financials, etc.

●  Oversee the monthly processes for Accounting to ensure that the books are closed in a timely manner

● Perform accounting research and answer other inquiries directed to the Accounting

Department Managerial Responsibilities:

● This position will manage other workers within the ministry

Points For:

●  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Work experience may be substituted for education requirement, substituting (2) years of work experience for every (1) year of course work.

●  Minimum five (5) years of related experience required.

●  Time management skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities and activities

●  Ability to identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve efficiencies

●  Strong verbal skills with the ability to speak in a way that is understandable to various constituents (CEO, front-line worker, Donor)

●  Aptitude in problem-solving and decision-making

Bonus Points If:

●  Master of Finance & Economics

●  Experience working in a non-profit organization

Hours / Travel Requirements:

Minimum core office hours are generally 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. This position will regularly require hours outside of the core office hours as operational requirements and the needs of the business dictate. Additionally, evening events, weekend engagements, and other activities will often require attendance and/or travel to represent HIA to the community and staff when necessary.

Physical Demands:

●  Office work is sedentary that requires the following physical activities:

  • Sitting or standing for long periods, walking, finger dexterity, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and visual acuity including close vision
  • ●  Occasional lifting (computer equipment, office supplies, etc.)
  • ●  May be required occasionally to stoop or kneel

Financial Operations Coordinator

Job Title: Financial Operations Coordinator

Job Type: Full-time | Oklahoma City

Hours: 8:30-5:00 Mon-Fri, with occasional evenings and weekends 

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately entering financial transactions utilizing QuickBooks and Salesforce to manage financial data and transactions effectively.
  • Process accounts payables in Quickbooks verifying accuracy, obtaining approvals, and scheduling payments.
  • Process accounts receivables accurately and in a timely manner through Salesforce.
  • Review employee expense reports through Fyle for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational policies. Processing expense reimbursements in a timely manner, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of financial transactions and documents in occurrence with retention policies.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Salesforce is recommended but not required.
  • Previous experience working with accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

 

Work Schedule

  • 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday)
  • 8:30-5:00PM
  • HIA Central Office | Oklahoma City
