Database Coordinator Job Description
At Hope is Alive, the role of Database Coordinator will be working directly with the Executive Director and Director of Development, participating in the overall growth of our organization’s mission by providing accurate and reliable data with frequent reporting. This technical and administrative position is critical to allow the organization to spread impact to gain donor support, build relationships, and position Hope is Alive for growth. The role represents a major opportunity for a motivated individual to help build and implement the organization’s successful use of Salesforce, impacting the effectiveness of our team and overall Community Development department.
This is a dynamic position requiring a talent for innovative and collaborative problem-solving, continuous learning and improvement, and a commitment to the ongoing quality enhancement of data systems, processes and reporting. This team member will lead the ongoing development and improvement, as well as day-to-day configuration, support, and maintenance of the new Salesforce Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system, and other database applications and systems. This role will be critical to developing a strong pipeline of donors that contributes to the organization’s long-term growth strategy. Our goal is to manage and provide a seamless stream of information throughout Hope is Alive, considering both backend data structure and frontend accessibility to actively meet organizational needs.
This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position, based in our Central Office located in Oklahoma City.
.Serves as the primary Salesforce CRM system administrator. Integrate Salesforce with third-party applications. Develop and maintain custom objects, fields, formulas, workflows, and page layouts. Responsible for batch uploads, exports, and updates of data.
.Leads in a way that is consistent with the vision, mission, and culture of Hope is Alive and commits to excellence in every aspect of the overall operation.
.Follows all guidelines as outlined in the employee handbook, including maintaining the organization’s message and standards.
.Participation in development team meetings and one-on-one personal development plan meetings.
Work closely with leadership and staff across the organization to identify, develop, deploy, and evaluate CRM processes.
.Implement solutions based on the organization’s needs.
.Analyze data and develop reports, dashboards, and processes to support business operations.
Respond to and resolve database access, security, and performance issues.
.Train new users and provide proactive and reactive data management support to help grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization.
