What is Finding Hope?

Finding Hope is a support group for loved-ones of addicts. In this class, you’ll find education, inspiration and a community of others who have been impacted by addiction. Each week you’ll learn more about addiction, discover tools to help those you love and find hope to help yourself on the road to recovery.

History of Finding Hope

On April 8, 2013, Mike and Tanya Dorris lost their 31-year-old son, Michael, after 10 years of battling addiction. Little did they know, God had a plan in store.

Mike and Tanya’s daughter-in-law invited them to hear Lance Lang, founder of Hope Is Alive, speak at her church. They knew immediately that God brought Lance into their lives for a resaon. A year later, they spoke with Lance about developing a program to educate people whose loved ones were struggling with addiction and help them heal themselves in the process. Thus, Finding Hope was founded and had its first class on Feb. 9, 2015.
