Losing a loved one to addiction brings a range of emotions from shame to regret to agonizing sorrow. Hope After Loss helps people process their emotions to move forward on the journey of healing and restoration. By walking through grief together in the light of God’s Word, we can begin to find strength, purpose, peace, and HOPE in the midst of our circumstances.

Join a Hope After Loss Retreat

Losing a loved one to addiction brings a twist of complicated emotions from shame to regret to agonizing sorrow. Hope After Loss retreat will help you process your emotions and press forward on the journey of healing and restoration. This is done in a relaxing retreat setting, through sharing in small groups, keynote speakers, and self-care.

By walking through grief together God can give us strength, purpose, and HOPE in the midst of our circumstances.

Who can attend Hope After Loss?

Anyone who is 18 and older that has lost a loved one due to the impact of addiction.

Does it cost anything to attend a meeting?

No, Hope After Loss is a free grief support group.

Is there childcare available?

At this time, we do not offer childcare at any of our meetings.

How long do the meetings last?

Our meetings last 1-½ hours.

How often do the meetings meet?

Typically, most of our meetings meet twice a month.

I don’t see a meeting in my location, how can I start a meeting in my community?

We are continuing to expand our meetings to new locations. If you feel called to begin a meeting in your community, please fill out the Leadership Training form.

What can I expect at a Hope After Loss meeting?

At each meeting you will have the opportunity to process your grief and emotions to move forward on the journey of healing and restoration.

How is Hope After Loss different from other grief support groups?

At Hope After Loss we all understand how each of our loved ones are more than the disease that took their life. We are able to understand and have a common language that others do not understand when it comes to loss and addiction.
